Living History Displays and Talks:
In addition to the raid reenactment itself, the event will feature living history displays by Civil War reenactors and local historical groups. Displays and demonstrations planned include the cavalry reenactors doing a "show and tell" discussing the equipment and arms of Civil War era cavalry, infantry reenactor demonstrations, an exhibition of Civil War Era dancing by the Old Dominion Dancers (with public participation after the raid event!), a fife and drum group, a display of original women's clothing of the era, and a display of original Civil War military artifacts.
