Fighting Parson: The Life and Times of Sam Chapman
by
Peter A. Brown is a fascinating study of Ranger Sam
Chapman and his brother Lt. Col. William Chapman, and
unlike previous histories of Mosby's command contains
considerable material on the detachment under Willam
Chapman sent to the Northern neck in January -March,
1865.
